Progress update

Brrr!! It was a bit cold yesturday but fortunately the rain stayed away and we were able to move forward with building our raised beds. Thank you to all those that came and volunteered and also to those that came to say hello - there was a good bit of chatting going on - in our makeshift garden seating area by the entrance - tea and coffee on tap and some very delicious brownies and biscuits (thank you Xuan for making these! Yum!).

BIG BUILD DAYS

These will carry on for at least another month as there is a lot of sawing to do - and a bit of thinking to get the construction done to a high standard.

Do you have any unused mugs?

Rather than using single-use plastic/or paper cups we would like to have enough mugs for people to use, that can then get washed and used again. We are short - so if you have any going spare, do let us know.

Are you a gardener?

Do you have too much of any plant in your garden and would consider donating a plant or two? We want to fill our new beds and also grow plants so we can have enough produce for a plant sale in the summer. This is all in aid of raising funds for the garden. Do let us know.

Our big Launch day

Is still to be confirmed given that there is still lots to do in the garden. It is likely to be around the end of April or May. There is NO event on the 19th March, except the usual volunteering between 10-2.
